Been a little awhile...again...

So it has been awhile since I posted on here again...I have the usual excuses and I think since we don't have a little baby anymore the kids don't seem to change as much so I take less pictures.  I could tell funny stories about them every day or talk how great they are but I think you all already know that ! :o)

Hmmm... so what's been up with us...

Justin got a job promotion (so proud of him..he deserved and he is great at his job) and has been busy buying/selling stuff on the internet. And anticipating getting out in nature and controlling certain pests.

I recently started working out early in the morning w/ some other moms and boy, am I out of shape (the first time, I was honestly about to pass out)! A trainer leads us through about 20 minutes of different exercises and it is tough! But I am glad these gals got this going and asked me to do it...a lot easier having to do it w/ others. And has anyone entered any giveaways yet? Since I posted about that so long ago, I have won about 5 more things! My winning seems to go in cycles, I will win a couple and then nothing and then when I'm about to give up and never enter one again, I win! So you all should give it a try!

The kids are loving that spring is here! J is especially-he is always bringing me his shoes and saying "go". He also always seem to hurting himself and getting bruises. I am kind of thinking I don't want him in sports 'cause I know he will get hurt!! :o)
 M is still loving school. I am able to help w/ "centers" once a month so that has been fun to see her in that environment and kind of get to know her friends. And going there always make me feel like I am pretty cool, all the kids come up and say hi, I get a few hugs and one little boy even drew me a picture the other day and then later came by and told me he liked me!
Fin loves learning...he has learned a lot from M and she likes to teach him things too. The boys do play pretty well together -they love to wrestle and sit on each other. Glad they can do that w/ each other!

M's bday!

I decided to be brave (and M kept asking) and invite her entire class over for a b-day party~all 17 of them!  Thankfully, only8 ( 6 of them boys-very busy ones!!) could make it and the bank has a community room I could use for the party. It was a lot of fun: she got some nice presents, ate cake, played some games and just had fun! The party was only 2 hours but I ran out of things to do after about 45 minutes!!! Thankfully again, my friend Deidre was there and helped me organize the chaos and find things to keep them all occupied! We survived and it was fun to see her w/ her friends and get to know some them better too!

She came into the world 6 years ago today with the softest little cry. She surprised her parents with all that dark hair, big eyes that took all her surroundings in right away, and the sweetness of being her

. We are blessed to call her our daughter!

Some Favorites Right Now

I am sorry this blog has been neglected lately...haven't taken many pictures, not very inspired or imaginative, and maybe just a little lazy but here is a new post again. :o)

Some of our favorite things right now!!

1. These boys getting along!! When they do it almost equals bliss for me! :o) Fin does do a good job playing w/ him but J is still learning the ropes of "no" and  leaving big bro's stuff alone!

Wrestling on the floor-usually lasts a few minutes before someone headbutts the other and crying ensues.

 2. My Kitchen Curtains! It took me about 3 months to get them done but they are done (almost-I still need to hem the 3rd one)! I am so thankful for my friend/co-worker Chris who did most of the work~ otherwise I'm not sure what the shape of them would be if she hadn't had done them!

 

3. this little guy!  First, he still eats pretty much anything I put in front of him and doesn't say it's gross! :o) Second, he is always climbing into things and sitting a spell!

4. San Fransisco! Well, that is one of Justin's favorite's right now. He was able to get cheap tickets and see his friend Ty who lives there. Ty's bro/Justin's friend also went. They were able to go to the Bobcat/Sac St football game, another college fball game, a Stanford bball game, horse-races, do go-carts, and eat at a lot of  yummy places. He says he wants to take me now...we will see...  :o)

4. Giveaways!!   I have found the new  hobby of entering giveaways!  It is so easy and addicting AND I have actually won 2 things~a nice credit to Shutterfly & a Totsy seat=total about $84.  I think it is a safe way to get stuff...you basically just give a name and email and then there is a drawing! If anyone wants to dabble in it, I can give some good sites to you but if you win anything you have to share w/ me~it's only fair! :o) Well, ok, I will just you 2 of the sites right now....tightwadinutah (a site that lists lots of giveaways and has a few of her own) and realmomreviews.  I think if you just type these into your search engine they should come up. Most of the sites giveaway baby/kid stuff but there is a lot of other things too! So if you are friends w/ me on FB, you probably have noticed I have "liked" a lot of pages-that is b/c for a lot of the giveaways you need to like the blog. All of the ones I have liked are either coupon/saving related or mommy so nothing to weird (i hope).


5. Crafting~ I have some ideas/projects in the works. I just need to find the time, space, and energy to do them. So much fun and so many fun ideas especially w/ Christmas coming up!!
