First day of K!

 Madelynn had her first day of school today and loved it! Her favorite part was recess (there were 3!) and also had fun seeing a few of her friends!

 We emptied the pool b/c it was full of sand from the sandbox so M wanted to clean it out w/ soap and water. They all had fun slipping around in the bubbles!

She has been wanting curls for days now so we tried out doing the "rags curl" thing. It was pretty easy and worked well- I do need some more practice tho'! And this is at the end of the day, her hair was pretty curly earlier.

Cousins

 We were able to meet Candace and the kids in Billings one more time before school starts. Mom decided to take all of us to the zoo and the kids loved going. The kids love meeting in Billings and playing. M and K are both in kindergarten this year so I am sure next time they see each other there will be lots of talk about school (hopefully it will be soon!)!

Palisade Falls

 We took a little 1/2 day trip to Palisade Falls this weekend. It is such an easy little  hike and they are such beautiful falls! We had lunch by Hyalite Lake and the kids even got a "little" wet in the lake.

 

She had lots of fun climbing up and over all the rocks and taking the short-cuts on the path.

Super Heros

On a friend's blog she posted how her sons loved to dress up as superheros and I thought that was so cute and such a good idea for something for the kids to do. I didn't have any costumes for them but I did have Pinterest and found the cute idea of cutting up some t-shirts for capes.
So here they are w/ their cool capes-

They loved them and played in them for a couple of hours...so nice to find an easy and cheap way for them to have fun!
