Hiking

On the way down Finley fell fast asleep.

For Memorial Day we went to the Memorial Day Parade in Bozeman. It was a great parade although Madelynn didn't particularly enjoy it because of the noise. After the parade, we hiked up to the M~ Justin pushed the kids in the jogging stroller and everyone we passed was like "Wow" "Good Job", "Now there is a workout". I pushed for a very little bit and would have to say- it is a workout to push them up the mountain and Justin barely broke a sweat! When we got to the top there were a lot of people up there have snacks and such and Finley kept pointing to everyone's food and grunting- I guess he was pretty hungry! So we treated ourselves to cheeseburgers at Ted's Montana Grill-yummy.

Just some pics

We had a couple with some young boys over-Madelynn and Michael found this place to hang out!
Finley is enjoying a doughnut here
Playing farmer
Madelynn taking care of her baby (poor thing)

Fun Pictures

Grinning Mischievously
Smooshy Kiss
I'm Here!
Here's my tongue!
Madelyn found this chair at a garage sale but Finley seems to sit in it more than she does. The only thing is when he sits in it, he can't get out! So he just sits there and yells "Mommee!!" really loud until I can come rescue him.

Mowing the Yard

Finley loved riding the lawnmower with Justin-he even kept in his ear plugs!
Here he is riding his buckin' bronco!

We have two BIG accomplishments these past few weeks. First, Madelynn is officially potty-trained! She is sleeping through the night now with big girl panties and is doing a great job!
Second, Finley is finally sleeping through the night in his own crib!! So I am actually averaging about 8 hrs a night of sleep and don't have any additional bed mates! So nice!
And I finally went to a chiropractor about my back-it turns out my right leg was shorter than my left, my left hip was turned/tilted back, the middle of my back where I got my epidurals was kinked (he said that is common side effect of them-I still would have got them!), and my lower neck was kinked probably from the nursing position. These aren't technical terms! Anyway, my neck and mid-back are way better but the hip/sciatica pain has taken longer to be corrected since it has been in that position for so long. I am seeing improvement which I am thankful for!

Kitties

Madelynn loves the kitties. Yesterday, she was holding one and said it was and hungry and needed to be nursed. Then it was tired and needed to be put to bed. Finley really likes them too but isn't quite as kind yet-they usually end up being held upside down and dropped from about 2 ft.

Mother's Day

Our Braveheart
Madelynn was chasing bubbles

She really likes worms these days

I had a great Mother's Day today~ I got to stay in bed 'til 9, had breakfast waiting for me when I got up (thanks Justin), got to have a yummy lunch, and had a nice relaxing afternoon and evening. Happy Mother's Day to all you special ladies ~ you all are doing a wonderful job! And of course I am so thankful for my Mom and my mother-in-law and my Grandma and Grandma Doris-you all are so special to us!

A Sunshiney Day

I don't think he is eating dirt but I know he has tried it a couple times!
I see you!
WHEEEE!!

How dirty can we Get?

Any sort of dark food always get smeared across their faces. One day Madelynn was snacking on some chocolate chips and decided to use them as lipstick. Needless to say, she doesn't do to well staying in the lines yet!
Madelynn wanted to be a tiger so she drew tiger stripes on
They love to paint but I always have to decide if I have the energy to clean everything and everyone up aftwards
