The Great Pumpkin

Justin loves to carve pumpkins and he finally was able to bring one home to carve. Madelynn enjoyed watching him and eating some of the pumpkin innards!
Digging the gook out
Finley was oohing and aahing over their creation

The finished product- a bunny! It is a scary Halloween one though!

What I Love about having Kids

Top Eight Reasons I love Having Little Kids
1. I can sing and dance...and they love it!
2. I get to color in coloring books again
3. Kissing chubby cheeks anytime I want to
4. Walking into a room and hearing "Mommy" yelled happily
5. Being able to see these little people grow and learn
6. Playing with dolls, trucks, and other various other toys
7. Walking into their room at night and seeing them sleep so sweetly
8. Seeing Justin be a Daddy

Now, what do you all like about being a Mommie/Mom, Grammie, Aunt/Uncle?

JAWS

Justin participated in a midnight charity golf event. They play a couple rounds of golf once the sun goes down using glow-in-the-dark balls and glow sticks line the course. The theme last year was "Elvis" and this year was "James Bond". The man who played the character Jaws was at the event and this is him posing with Justin and his coworkers. As you can see this guy is BIG! I guess he was a pretty friendly guy. Justin and his team didn't do too hot but they had fun!

Justin turns 30

Justin and I both turned 30 (!) last month and I think we did so gracefully too! No huge mid-life crisis! Anyway, for his birthday there was a surprise party in Billings (which he was surprised) and then on his official bday I wrapped 30 presents and made a treasure hunt for him - and Madelynn helped of course. Here they are unwrapping one of his treasures!

Madelynn

Here are just some cute pictures of Madelynn. She always seems to find ways to entertain herself when we are traveling. In the above one she is putting coins on her eyes and on a previous post there was a picture of her trying out a diaper on her head.
She loves our six kitties and I do kind of feel sorry for them as they are always being squeezed, toted around, wrapped in a blanket or dropped from about 3 feet. That must be why God created them so flexible and able to land on their feet! :o)
I had thought she was officially potty-trained but we are experiencing some bumps in the road with that. She is doing well just when she gets to playing or whatever accidents do happen.
