Lustre

After London, Justin wanted to hit another hot "L" spot, LUSTRE! So we headed north after he rested awhile on Wednesday. We had three goals to accomplish there- see his parents, Schmeckfest, and shoot some gophers. Well, we did the first two without a problem, but the third one took a little longer. Finally, on Saturday the weather cleared up some and Justin was able to go out and get a few! Unfortunatley, we had to stay longer on Sat. because MJ got a bad stomach bug and was throwing up all day. She stopped that nite and did ok on Sunday but was just really tired and out of it. But on Monday are body decided to throw up some more but today she is finally on the mend and seems like her old self! Praise the Lord. We had great time in Lustre, MJ really enjoyed seeing her grandparents there too!!

Schmeckfest

We had a great time at Schmeckfest. We were able to see lots of old friends and eat some of that good food!! Yummeee!! Here Madelynn is practicing for when she is older and comes back to perform!

New Haircut

Madelynn got her first big girl haircut the other day. Our good friend from high school, Camille, cut her hair. MJ sat very still for her and I think she enjoyed getting it done. Camille has a really nice salon behind her house and does a great job so if anyone in Billings is looking for a hair stylist, I suggest giving her a call! :)

Nature

Across the road from our house there have been four bald eagles perching. You can barely make out their forms in this pic (our camera isn't that high tech) but they really are very close. It was so neat to see them take off in flight and soar through the air. They are so majestic. It has been a lot of fun watching them, I wish I could sit outside and watch them for longer but two lil' people usually call me back inside!

Talking about nature, a show I really recommend for its beautiful images of nature is Discovery's, Planet Earth, it showcases all different areas of the world like desert, water, forest, etc and has just amazing video of it all. It is definetly better in high def but either way God did a more than wonderful job creating beautiful and unique animals and plants. The only negative about the show is that they always mention evolution. It is amazing that after making this beautiful series about the earth a person doesn't see the hand of an amazing Creator.

4 Month Check-up

So Finley had his four month checkup on Monday. He is a healthy little guy- everything checked out great and he really showed off how good his lungs were because he howled the entire time! Whenever the doctor or nurse came in he started crying! Anyway, his stats for four months are:

height-26.5 inches (90%), weight- 18.10 lbs (90%) and his head was in the 95th percentile of course. We like big heads- Madelynn's noggin was always off the charts! Also his pj's in the pic are unfortunately very fitting- he doesn't like to sleep all that much yet at night but it is improving,

Tummy Time

Just a pic of these two kind of playing with each other. Finley is starting to notice Madelynn more now and smile at her and reach for her. She is also starting to show that she is a sibling because she doesn't like it now when he touches her or accidently kicks her. She does occassionally share a toy with him though or bring him a toy which is sweet.
