Weekend w/ Grammie!

Sharon came down for about 5 days and we all LOVED it! She made LOTS of crafts w/ M and listened to LOTS of F's "knock knock" jokes and got some snuggles in w/ little J. And I was able to get my haircut (finally!) and have lunch w/ my hubby. So nice...
I only took one picture, of course, but we have lots of "mental" pictures! :o)

Pic Challenge 13-SWEET

So I am waaay behind on this picture challenge thing but oh well, I don't think anyone is keeping track, right? :o)
So for SWEET here are a few pics of the kids finding eggs on Easter in the snow (sweet candy). And then a few pictures of the SWEET little Skillman cousins!

I would like to say they made ALL the mess but that might not be true! :o)

I think they might be trouble when they are older!

AAHHH SUN!

Today we were able to spend a lot of time outside! YAY! Around 11 we met some friends and walked around the River Rock Pond and then we went for lunch and played at a park 'til 1:3o. I tried to get the kids to rest for a little while but they wouldn't nap so they were outside again pretty much til bedtime. They fell asleep instantly-so nice to get the fresh air! But poor lil' Jay has a very rosy face tonight...I am not really in the sunscreen mindset yet. :o)

Madelynn made a drum set out of yard stuff...she may have to go try out Uncle Jonathan's sometime tho'

Jay is fascinated by the cat. He just laughs when she walks by or cuddles beside us. He doesn't like the prickly grass yet tho'.

Just some Pics

Madelynn actually let me put pigtails in her hair on Sunday (did you notice her missing tooth?) but by the time Sunday School was over they were out...oh well, it is a start!

Enjoying the milder spring weather! I have noticed now that we have some nicer days the kids act a little more crazy in the house and I can't send them outside to run it off though b/c it is either windy or rainy!

TheExperiment

I recently started doing the Pinterest thing and it is soo great! It is fun to find crafts for me and the kids, decor ideas, style ideas, recipes, etc... But one of the things I like most about it is that I can find things for the kids to do inside b/c sometimes my imagination is on vacation and also other people are way more creative than me! So I found this easy colorful volcanoish thing to do!
They really enjoyed doing it as the pictures show!

First put some baking soda and food coloring in the plastic containers and then just add vinegar! Pretty simple but they found it entertaining for awhile! :o)
