MJ's Hair

Madelynn really dislikes getting her hair done. She will not let me put ponytails in and occasionally she will wear a clip. So imagine my surprise when I came home from work and she had TWO braids in her hair!! Alysha somehow got her to let her put them in and keep them in more than a minute!
Such a nice round head!

Aaah, pregnancy

I am 34 weeks now and in a little bit of denial that I will be going through labor and delivery sometime in the next 6 weeks! Where does the time go? Obviously, the time flies between running after the other 2, cleaning up after them and also having lots of fun with them! I also do find time to nap and laze around a little and Justin does do a great job playing with kids in the evening. People are always asking me how I am doing/feeling and I really can't complain. My major complaints tho' are: not being able to bend over, digestive/intestinal discomforts, lower back/hip pain, and frequent Braxton Hicks contractions. I did start seeing a physical therapist for the lower back/ hip and she has been a HUGE help in relieving that discomfort- I just need to keep doing the exercises! We are very excited to meet this little one of course, but we have NO definitive names picked so that is a little annoying. I am leaning toward a girl but according to my little poll on the side everyone else is thinking boy! We shall see... Fin giving the baby a little love

Scams

Working at the bank, we come across a lot of scams. I thought I should pass some of these scams along so either you don't fall for one or a loved one doesn't. . Here are a few examples:

1. You receive a letter saying you have won a prize/lottery!! Yea!! but first you need to send your social, birthdate, and some other personal info so they can send it to you! Obviously, don't do it!! Never send this info to anyone in these situations since they can steal your identity.
2. You are selling something on craig's list, ebay, or in the newspaper and someone wants to buy it but they send a money order/cashier's ck for more money. You contact them and they say "oops, just send the difference back". Then after you do, a few days later you find their ck was bogus and now you are out a hundred or more dollars.
3. This scam has happened to a customer or 2 of ours, they are usually elderly. The elderly person receives a phone call from Canada and it is their "grandson" calling from jail saying they got in trouble please don't call mom/dad but could you please bail me out. The grandparent feels really bad and doesn't want to get the kid in more trouble so they wire the money. Then they find out the grandkid has been home the entire time!
4. An elderly person get a letter saying that the social security fund is running low could you please donate some money to help others out. They are doing alright so they send a ck each month. This happened to one of my co-workers parents. They really thought they were helping out.
5. Getting emails from "your bank" saying they need you to reply by clicking on this link and verify your social, birthday, acct number. Never do this...your bank should have this and would not contact you this way to get this info if needed.

Anyway, this is just a reminder to watch what our elderly relatives or friends are sending their money to. It seems like the older generation is more trusting of people calling, sending letters, etc. so they are more likely to give money to these things. Once the money is gone it is pretty much impossible to get back.

We headed to Billings this past weekend to spend time with family and of course celebrate Mother's Day. An extra special plus was that Vanessa & Addison were visiting from Canada! We hadn't seen them for over 18 months-too long! Here are a couple pics of the weekend...
The guys in the garage doing "man" stuff
Finley trying out the new trike from Great Grandma Doris
Two pics of the ladies (minus Mom-where is she when we are taking pictures?) Justin was trying to be sly but between the 2, I think only one or 2 of us look normal! :o)
Kylie trying to catch raindrops

We took the kids to the mall playground Monday to run off some energy since they had been cooped up for 2 days. Our cousin Julie and family met us there too! So fun to see them too!
Cousin Isaac in his cool hat
Two of many attempts at sister pictures...maybe there is a great picture of all us on a different camera? :o)

The Aunties trying to wrangle the nieces and nephewsWe were also able to see our good friends Eric & Tiffany and their little sweetie Braylee...these two played pretty well together!

Going to See the Calves

On the way there-walking into the sunlight
My pregnant pose in the background..."oh, my aching back!"

Madelynn finally working up the nerve to pet one

Headed home

Our neighbors down the road are dairy farmers so this time of the year they have lots of cute calves. It is one of the kids' favorite places to walk to in the evenings with Dad.

Headwaters State Park

We were able to spend Sunday seeing the sights at Headwaters State Park by Three Forks. It was actually pretty cool-there are lots of trails and picnic sites. The kids enjoyed throwing rocks into the river and throwing sticks for a dog that was there. The trail we walked on was pretty neat b/c it went high on a cliff over-looking the river. Anyway, it was a nice place to go for a family outing.
Looking for rocks to throw-need to find the perfect one!
